Roscommon Community College had the honour of presenting a cheque to Mayo Roscommon Hospice last week. This was a collective achievement stemming from our recent staff coffee morning and student’s bake sale, along with the memorable ‘Make the Cut’ event from last year. A big thank you to Patricia and Ms Keena for facilitating and organising these events. A special thanks to Martina Jennings, CEO of Mayo Roscommon Hospice, for not only accepting the cheque but also taking time to speak with our students about the invaluable work the hospice does. We’re also grateful to Mayo Roscommon Hospice for supporting our student’s enterprise McCompactors, by purchasing their innovative bin compactors.
