Everyone a Reader at Roscommon Community College

This year, Roscommon Community College proudly launched our new library space—an exciting hub of imagination, creativity, and exploration for all students .The journey began back in September, when our students took part in inspiring creative writing workshops led by the acclaimed author Clara Kumagai, in partnership with Children’s Books Ireland. These workshops, part of the Everyone a Reader initiative, encouraged students to explore storytelling, develop their writing skills, and celebrate the joy of reading.The official launch was a joyful celebration of student creativity, with readings, reflections, and the unveiling of a library that now stands at the heart of our school community. We’re delighted to share the video recording of this special event, capturing the energy and enthusiasm of the day.
