The school musical is held every few years. The musical is open to students from all years and takes place in Roscommon Arts Centre before the Hallowe’en midterm break. In preparation for the musical, students take part in music, drama and dance workshops, under the guidance of staff members Ms. Amanda Smyth and Ms. Irene Nestor, and choreographer Patricia Mc Dermott of the Mc Dermott School of Classical Ballet and Dance.

 

Our past musicals, Back to the 80s (October 2011),  All Shook Up (September 2013) , Hairspray ( September 2015)  Grease (September 2019) were resounding successes and excitement is already building ahead of our next musical, TBC.
