RCC was proud to honour its outstanding athletes at the recent Sports Awards ceremony, celebrating achievements across a wide range of disciplines at both junior and senior levels. In ladies Gaelic football, Orla Norris, Leah Connolly and Eabhnna Sheridan were recognised for their dedication and skill. In Gaelic football, Jack Hayes, Marcus Shally, Jason Daly and Jake Donlon were recognised for their commitment and impact.
In ladies’ soccer, top honours went to Danielle Kerr and Sophie Cox. Boys’ soccer saw Liam Naughton, Pierce Fannon and Harry McDermott receive awards for their impressive performances, while in Camogie, Ciara Connolly and Jessica Coyle were celebrated. Hurling standouts James Gannon, Ryan Halligan and Tom Óg Reddington also took home accolades.
For track and field events Callum Leech and Chloe McNeela were acknowledged in the athletics category. On the court, basketball awards went to N. Farrell, Jonathan Borges, William Ward and Ben McHugh McRory, and volleyball awardees included Ena Dupanovic, Ava Quigley, Caoimhe Murray, Jonathan Borges and Luiz Rodriguez.
The highlight of the day was the announcement of Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year: Shauna McDermott and Conor Morris, whose exceptional contributions set them apart. Congratulations to all recipients for their hard work, sportsmanship and school spirit throughout the academic year.
