Our Transition Year STEM Passport for Inclusion students have just completed their third and final workshop! Over the course of these workshops, they tackled complex problems, explored coding, engaged with their Microsoft mentors, and worked on solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The STEM Passport for Inclusion Programme is dedicated to breaking down barriers to STEM education and careers for students from underrepresented communities. STEMP.Inc empowers students and provides them with a STEM qualification and industry mentorship, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to pursue further education and careers in STEM. The vision of the project is to make sure that no one is left behind in STEM. Through innovative systems-thinking approach, collaborating with industry leaders and educators across Ireland to create meaningful STEM opportunities. Congratulations to all the students who attended all three days and submitted all three assignments. A graduation ceremony will be held in the following academic year. Finally, thanks to Maynooth University and ATU for facilitating such a worthy programme.
