Best of luck to our U19 Boys Senior soccer team who take on Tullamore College in the West Leinster Division 3 final this coming Friday the 23rd of February in Athlone Town Stadium with a 10:30am kick off. The two sides met earlier in the group stages of the competition with RCC coming out 5-3 winners on the day, so a tight final is expected. Unfortunately, last year the senior boys team lost the West Leinster final 4-3 to Gallen CS so with the majority of last year’s squad still making up this year’s squad there is a hunger to make amends this year. The squad also have the chance to make RCC school history by being the first ever soccer team to win a title for the school at any level. Any support is welcomed on the day to cheer on the lads.
