Gaisce

Every year our students are given the opportunity to participate in the Gaisce Awards. This challenge of this prestigious Awards programme is to encourage imitative, self-discipline, leadership and caring skills in young people between the ages of 15and 25.

Gaisce – The President’s Award works on the basis of a personal challenge set by you with the support of a President’s Award Leader (PAL). There are three different Awards that you can earn: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each Award has 4 different challenge areas. To earn an Award you must take part in each of the 4 challenge areas.

The 4 challenge areas are:

1. Community Involvement
2. Personal Skill
3. Physical Recreation
4. Adventure Journey
