On Wednesday 24th of April our Learning for Life students took the train from Roscommon to Castlerea to visit the Castlerea Railway Museum. The students were given a tour by Sean Browne of the museum including an old train carriage. The students then visited the Cindy elephant plaque in the local park and had a great time exploring the playground and fairy village. Before getting the train back to Roscommon the students got to have hot chocolate and some treats. Thanks to teacher Aaron Deering for organising and accompanying the students along with SNAs Martina McQuaid, Clare Wallace and Mary Feeley. Finally, a big thank you to Sean Browne who showed the students around and gave them a great day out in Castlerea.
