Transition Year Chemistry students took part in I’m a Scientist, a student-led STEM enrichment activity. This event connects students with scientists through dynamic, real-time text-based chats, allowing the students to engage directly with experts and explore various areas of the world of science. Additionally, student scavenger hunts took place throughout the week, adding an element of fun and discovery to the learning experience. Students were required to find various chemical elements around the school and discover a code letter to reveal a scientific key word. A fun-filled and active learning experience was enjoyed by all involved.
A vast array of science-themed competitions and quizzes were coordinated throughout Science Week with students eagerly striving to win a prize. Well done to all students who participated and congratulations to all who earned a well-deserved prize!
