Last week the students in the Learning for Life classes were delighted to welcome Winston, a much-loved therapy dog, to Roscommon Community College. Winston is a resident at Ballyfeeney National School, the only school in Roscommon to have a therapy dog working in such a setting.
Our students were thrilled to have Winston visit their classes, observe his playful tricks, feed him some treats, and feel his beautiful soft coat. This was a hugely positive experience for everyone who had the opportunity to benefit from Winston’s companionship.
Thank you to the Principal of Ballyfeeney National School, Mr Diarmuid Sutton, for kindly sharing Winston with us.
