Two second year classes, 2A and 2C, are engaging with TUS Athlone on a research project over a 6-week period which aims to assess and develop students’ knowledge and understanding of plastic pollution.
Week one commenced with students completing questionnaires designed to assess their current knowledge on plastic pollution. The TUS researchers, Eduardo and Enrique, gave an insightful presentation into plastic pollution and delved into the scientific aspects of plastics. Students are eagerly looking forward to the second visit that will take place during Science Week 2024.
