Tommy Morris, a former Leaving Certificate student at Roscommon Community College, was recently honoured at a prestigious ceremony hosted by the Engineering & Technology Teachers Association (ETTA) at ATU Sligo. He was awarded for achieving one of the top 10 results in Leaving Certificate Engineering nationwide. Tommy is now pursuing Engineering studies at University College Dublin (UCD).
Seán Allen was also recently awarded the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition Scholarship for the academic year 2024-2025 from University of Galway. Congratulations to Sean, whose outstanding project, “Rooting for Sustainability: An Exploration of More Sustainable Grassland Nutrient Management for a Greener Future,” earned critical acclaim from the judges and won the prestigious Amgen Biological & Ecological Award. Seán, a former Roscommon Community College student, is now pursuing Science at the University of Galway.
