Well done to the TY students who have successfully completed their three workshops in the STEM Passport for Inclusion module. This module provides a pathway for students from underrepresented populations to pursue careers in STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics). The module which comprises of three workshops and three assignments helps to develop important skills needed for studying subjects like biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, maths, physics, and technology. Students who complete the three workshops and three assignments can use it as a passport to select colleges to enter STEM degrees. Once students have completed this course and completed all aspects, students will be awarded a ‘Level 6 Certificate’ accredited to the National Framework of Qualifications. This will be presented to students at an event next year.  A special word of thanks to Maynooth University and ATU Sligo for giving the workshops.
