As part of their TY Environmental Studies module, a group of Transition Year students, will be conducting Air Quality research around our school measuring NO2 levels from traffic related pollution. This is part of GLOBE Ireland’s citizen science campaign and this is our second year to take part in the study. We are fortunate to have data from last year to compare this year’s results to and we look forward to seeing the comparisons and connections that are made. The class will also be collaborating with a school in Malta who are conducting a similar study around their school and we look forward with interest to seeing them compare and contrast their results.
